GAP Shatters Monopoly on Ideas
The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform believes that many students come to universities with a settled position on abortion. Pictures of abortion are helpful in unsettling their ill-informed abortion stance. Thankfully our efforts are paying off. CBR has just completed taking the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) to 8 universities this fall.
The combined enrollment of the universities where GAP was displayed this fall totaled 174,305!
- South Dakota State University (11,021 students)
- University of South Dakota (8,000 students)
- University of Louisville (21,725 students)
- University of Kentucky (26,260 students)
- University of Tennessee at Knoxville (30,000 students)
- Eastern Kentucky University (16,000 students)
- Penn State University (41,000 students)
- Cornell University (20,299 students)
Here are a few of the many responses to GAP:

“The display was a great opportunity for students to see the reality
behind abortion the project is important for college-aged women
because they are often pressured into abortion.”
Ashley Schulte, SDSU Junior (SDSU Collegian)
“Members of the coalition are comparing apples to oranges by
paralleling the Holocaust and the lynching of African Americans
under Jim Crow with a woman's reproductive rights.”
William Anderson, USD Student (The Volante)
“College students are the most likely demographic to have an abortion.
I feel it’s very important that the campus be made aware that abortion
is killing an unborn baby.”
Bill Norton, U of L student (Louisville Cardinal)
“On this campus, I see a lot of people talking about everybody should have freedom of speech, but when something like this happens, those are the same people passing out fliers saying the exhibit should not
be on campus.” Sherah Israel U of L student (Louisville Cardinal)
“The one thing the GAP proved is that they have no regard for who they target or offend, and in that respect, they are as dangerous as the thing they protest.” Charles Westmoreland, U of L English Major (The Louisville Cardinal)
"I think it is offensive because the majority of people don't want to see this. It's pieces of babies lying next to quarters and dimes”
Allison Hash, EKU Student (Eastern Progress)
More GAP Student Fodder
"Overwhelmingly it's been a positive response…there's been a lot of people discussing it and that's good; that's the whole point."
Anne Kedera, UK Student (The Kentucky Kernel)
“When confronted with pictures of aborted children, we hear disgust and outrage on the part of those wanting to be oblivious to the truth. If the pictures were not themselves terrible, would there be such an outcry?” Tommy Juanso, Political science/History Junior (The Kentucky Kernel)
"People are uniformed about abortion. This is a way to bring the knowledge of what it is to the forefront of their thoughts”
Sandora Bloom, EKU Student (Eastern Progress)
“It's kind of nasty…but their point is right. [Abortion is] genocide and people need to see these pictures."
Jesse Dominick, PSU Religious studies major (The Collegian)
“The graphic pictures shown the last few days bring to light the truth. If you support abortion, please be aware that you are supporting the brutality shown in these pictures.”
Katrina Kissman, PSU student (The Collegian)
"I never in a million years would have thought that abortion is so
terrible if it wasn't for this site showing me the photos with input from many others." 27 year old female from Gainesville, FL
CBR Midwest Challenges Notre Dame Students to Address Abortion Crisis

Paul Troiani speaks to Notre Dame Right to Life. |

In October, CBR Midwest was invited to South Bend, IN by Notre Dame Right to Life (NDRTL) to give a Pro-life 101 presentation and a presentation on the use of graphic abortion pictures in a contemporary visual culture. CBR Midwest is determined to help pro-life university students articulate the pro-life position to their peers and convince them, that an intellectual discussion on abortion requires the facts aborted baby images. Arina Grossu, NDRTL’s President made the talk mandatory for all Right to Life members enabling Paul Troiani to share CBR’s vision to 70 pro-life students. Paul challenged NDRTL to take abortion killing much more seriously and consider inviting GAP to Notre Dame University.
In three months CBR has displayed the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) at 8 universities with a combined enrollment of 174,305! GAP touched the hearts and minds of thousands of students who will never think and feel the same about abortion again. Do you know of any other pro-life organization that has obtained uncensored access to almost 200,000 students with ONE project!? GAP is a weapon of mass instruction that is halting business as usual on university
campuses. Campuses that were not even thinking about abortion suddenly become consumed by child killing after GAP has its say! Please fire up that other big weapon in the CBR arsenal: your checkbook! Help CBR Midwest finish our successful year strong by writing us a large end of the year check.
