The Genocide Awareness Project was on campus at Middle Tennessee State University on September 20 and 21, 2000.

CBR Director Gregg Cunningham educates the growing crowd concerning the realites of abortion, genocide, and free speech. CBR volunteer Jewel Logan shares her perspective with interested MTSU students. In an informal survery conducted by the online student newspaper "Sidelines Online", 9% of the responding students said GAP "changed their stance on abortion". Susan Dammann, from the CBR Ohio office, fields questions while a group of students listen in. A huge number of students saw the GAP display during our two days in Murfreesboro.
Robert and Erica had many opportunities to educate their peers. Two CBR volunteers explain why abortion doesn't help women. CBR staffers Greg Davis (w/ yarmulke) and Gregg Cunningham (w/ hat) embrace the opportunity to participate in thoughtful discussion. CBR Midwest Director Mark Harrington reaches out to gathered students.
CBR Southeast Director Fletcher Armstrong and some CBR volunteers speak to a large crowd of concerned students. CBR intern Erica Rogers is committed to educating fellow young people with the truth about abortion, no matter how much hostility she faces. Since most students have never seen what abortion is or does, GAP is never at a loss for interested viewers. As is always the case, GAP prompts students to talk about that which they would likely never otherwise consider.
Dante distributes literature while Glenden speaks to passers by. This volunteer student was courageous in helping to educate her classmates with the facts about abortion. CBR volunteers Robert and Omar defend the position which GAP lays out: Abortion is an act of violence on par with any other crime against humanity. A visible police presence always helps keep the peace even as student debate heats up.

CBR condemns all abortion related violence and will not associate with groups or individuals who fail to condemn such violence.
