The flexiblity of the GAP display shone through at NC State where our signs were configured to maintain their maximum impact despite a rather narrow exhibit site. Greg Davis, a Jewish staffer, helps allay the criticism that CBR is exploiting the victims of the Holocaust. Thomas Washington, a CBR volunteer, has a seat while students soak in the grisly imagery. One woman shared with a CBR volunteer that she had just recently told her teenage son what she had done. She thanked us for being there because she said that it took so long to work through it and she hopes that this (display) would spare someone else. CBR's Susan Damman talks with passing students, many of whom are seeing abortion for the first time.
Tia, a New Jersey volunteer, uses the GAP pictures as a springboard for this discussion with a fellow African-American woman. These visual progressions are foundational to understanding the connection which exists between every crime against humanity. Fletcher Armstrong (third from right), director of the CBR Southeast office, takes time to correct much of the misinformation which exists concerning abortion. This sobering display can really change the mood of a university campus. One student approached to remark, “I am pro-life, but now I know why.”
For students interested in a more thorough explanation of our premise, we offer the conclusive "Why Abortion is Genocide" both online and in print. Here CBR Midwest director Mark Harrington offers one such brochure.
CBR condemns all abortion related violence and will not associate with groups or individuals who fail to condemn such violence.
